Area to be covered: West Midlands and South Wales

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Ceramic Tiles will involve:

• Field sales role promoting a distributed range of wall and floor ceramic tiles
• Majority of your time will be spent selling into tile fixers/ tiling contractors but also main contractors and regional housebuilders
• Responsible for an area achieving circa £2m+, currently tracking on budget
• Account management/ development bias role
• Inheriting approx. 60+ tile contractor relationships and 10 housebuilder accounts
• Project sizes up to £120,000, but typically £20,000
• Overseeing some social housing contracts, that don’t require a lot of maintenance/ account management

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Ceramic Tiles with:

• Field sales experience with tile associated contractors; tile fixers/ tiling contractors, main contractors or regional housebuilders is preferred
• Contacts within tile fixers/ tiling contractors, main contractors or regional housebuilders may be advantageous
• Preferably sold tiles or associated products such as tile adhesives, sundries, sanitaryware, bathrooms, KBB etc.
• Open to most building products
• Must be comfortable with some client entertaining/ overnight stays every few weeks
• Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Excellent presenter
• Smart and presentable in appearance
