Our client, a leading construction company based in Ainsworth, specialises in high-quality suspended ceilings and partitioning systems for both commercial and industrial projects. Known for delivering exceptional standards and working on prestigious developments across the North West, they have built a solid reputation within the industry. Due to continuous growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are now seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately measure and estimate material costs, labour, and other project expenses for specialist ceiling and partition installations.

Prepare and submit detailed tenders for a range of commercial and industrial projects.

Manage subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate valuations and payments are processed.

Identify and propose cost-saving solutions while maintaining the high-quality standards the company is known for.

Conduct site visits to measure and evaluate works, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Provide accurate financial reports on project status, highlighting any issues or opportunities for improvement.

Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with specific expertise in ceilings, partitions, and drylining.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar QS software).

Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (degree or equivalent).

A valid UK driving licence, as occasional site visits will be required.
