NEOS Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Heavy Plant Fitter to join our client's busy and growing team. Based in our client's well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a wide range of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and more.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on and technically skilled individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in a workshop-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy plant equipment
Fault-finding and problem-solving using diagnostic tools and manuals
Conducting inspections in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently
Liaising with parts suppliers and maintaining accurate records of work carried out
Supporting the workshop supervisor and contributing to a clean and organised working environment
Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role within heavy plant, construction, or agricultural equipment
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical knowledge
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
Valid CSCS, NPORS, or relevant tickets desirable but not essential
A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
Full UK Driving Licence
