A leading housing developer is seeking a Trainee Contracts Manager to oversee new build housing projects in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will currently hold a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager position with a PLC developer and is looking to progress to the next level.
Job Duties:

Manage and oversee new build housing projects from inception to completion

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Coordinate with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams

Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise

Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:

SMSTS certification

CSCS certification
-
First Aid certification
-
NVQ Level 6 or equivalent

Valid Driving Licence
Education and Experience:

Previous experience in PLC house building projects

Demonstrated experience in Senior Site Management or Project Management roles
Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of construction project management processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead and motivate teams

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:

Office-based work with frequent site visits

Travel within the West Midlands region required
