Summary:
Nijhuis Saur Industries are looking for a semi-skilled labourer for one of our projects in Cheshire. You will assist with various tasks on the construction site to help to ensure the project is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, ability to work in various weather conditions, and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform various skilled labour tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Coordinate deliveries and unloading store materials on site, collating all relevant documentation
• Take photographic records of deliveries and put equipment and items in storage
• Manage the stored items and alert the site manager of any issues
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment in a safe manner such as power tools, overhead cranes and forklifts
• Assist with the setup and clean-up of work areas
• Assist in the commissioning activities as assigned by the site manager / commissioning engineers
• Work alongside the sub-contractors / supplier site staff as required
• Complete assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the site manager within a timely manner
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Liaise with a variety of sub-contractors on a daily basis

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• CSCS Card
• FLT Licence/Telehandler License
• Blue water hygiene card, preferred but not essential
• Stores experience
• First Aid (desirable)
