Job Summary:
- Inspect and assess temporary works to ensure they meet all safety standards and regulations.

- Conduct advanced scaffold inspections in accordance with CISRS guidelines.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to ensure temporary works are designed and implemented safely.

- Identify and report any non-compliances or potential hazards promptly.

- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.

- Provide technical advice and support on temporary works and scaffolding matters.

- Ensure all temporary works activities comply with current legislation and best practices.



Duties, Responsibilities, and Authorities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of temporary works, with a focus on scaffolding inspection of basic scaffolding (tower scaffolding, independent scaffolding,
birdcage scaffolding, mobile tower scaffolding, and bridging beam scaffolding) and advanced level scaffolding, to ensure compliance with design specifications,
health and safety standards, and relevant regulations.

- Verifying the proper installation, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with CISRS guidelines.

- Identifying and reporting any defects, hazards, or safety concerns to the site management team promptly.

- Maintaining accurate and detailed inspection records, including photographic evidence, checklists, and reports.

- Liaising with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination regarding temporary works.

- Ensuring that all scaffolding works comply with the approved Temporary Works Procedure and relevant British Standards.

- Providing expert advice on scaffolding best practices and safety measures to the project team.

- Participating in regular site safety meetings and contributing to the development of safety strategies and procedures.

- Staying updated with the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to temporary works and scaffolding.



Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Advanced Scaffold Inspection Card (CISRS) is essential.

- Valid CSCS Card.

- Basic Scaffolding Inspection

- Valid Advanced Scaffold Inspection

- Proven experience as a Temporary Works Inspector in the construction industry.

- Extensive experience in scaffolding inspection within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.

- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to temporary works and scaffolding, including temporary works procedures and British Standards (such as BS 5975).

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.

- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
