We are currently recruiting for experienced operatives to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a major earthworks and water infrastructure package in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile heavy civils project.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of large-scale earthworks and water infrastructure schemes
*
Operate plant and machinery (where qualified)
*
Support groundworks, drainage, and excavation activities
*
Work from site drawings, RAMS, and method statements
*
Collaborate effectively with site teams, supervisors, and engineers
*
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in heavy civils, earthworks, or water-related projects (e.g. pumping stations, attenuation systems, large excavations)
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
CPCS/NPORS tickets (desirable) for plant such as Excavator, Dumper, Roller, or Dozer
*
Reliable and proactive approach to site work
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
