We are currently recruiting a Senior Engineer to work on RC Frame & Groundwork project based in Newcastel.
This is a freelance position and duration of project will be 12monts.
As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Management of work to high standards of performance in line with project procedures and applicable standards, through the leadership of “setting to work” briefing with safety and quality focus.
* Managing site engineers and ensure they are using correct AFC drawing.
* Managing setting out on site (at initial stage of the project)
* Experience of method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
* Good knowledge with setting out, call off materials and QA documentation (including pre-pour and post pour inspection)
* Assist supervisor with technical information and materials.
* Maintain site diary.
* Review drawing and raise RFI/TQ as required.
* Carrying out of quality assurance inspections.
* Ensuring a safe working practice
* Support project manager and contract manager on day today activities.
* SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification
Skills:
* Previously worked as a Senior Engineer on RC Frame project preferable.
* You have experience in Groundwork and RC Frame.
* You have worked on high value projects preferable.
* Hold a valid CSCS card
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
* Ideal candidate must have rights to live and work in UK
