Description

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Handle the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and readily available when needed

Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive efficiency and productivity

Support month-end and year-end close processes
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:

A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

Experience of preparation of month-end management accounts / reporting

Experience of year-end statutory reporting

Experience in construction industry would be beneficial

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail

A strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)

Proficiency in major accounting software packages
