Site Manager - New Build Housing

are currently seeking an experienced
Site Manager
to oversee operations on a
new build housing development
for a well-established residential contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised construction professional to take full ownership of site delivery, ensuring homes are completed to high quality standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full life cycle of the construction programme from groundworks through to final handover.

Coordinate and oversee all trades and subcontractors on-site to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality build.

Liaise with the project team, including Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and client representatives.

Drive progress against the programme, identifying and mitigating any delays or issues.

Maintain rigorous standards of
health & safety
, delivering inductions and toolbox talks as needed.

Conduct quality inspections and snagging, ensuring all work is completed to specification.

Keep detailed site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and H&S documentation.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a
Site Manager
on
new build housing developments
.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive productivity on site.

Excellent understanding of housebuilding processes, regulations, and standards.

Able to manage multiple trades and work to tight deadlines.

Valid
SMSTS
,
CSCS Black Card
, and
First Aid
certifications.

Strong commitment to health & safety, quality, and team performance.
