The Commercial Assistant assists the Commercial Manager in securing new contracts with our large Platinum clients.
Main Duties:
Assisting and relieving the Commercial Manager with smaller non-competitive projects.
Understanding clients’ key drivers and vision for a project, working with the Designers to put this vision into reality
Surveying project sites to get an understanding of the conditions, measurements and ascertaining how to deliver the project
Proposal sign-off and presentation to client. Ensure 100% pricing and specification accuracy prior to quoting, whilst maximizing GP
Ensure clear client communication throughout the opportunity process, keeping CRM up-to-date and forecasting accurate
Key requirements:
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent at building relationships with stakeholders
Excellent IT skills in Excel and Word
CRM System knowledge
Action-orientated, can-do approach
Commerical background
Efficient – develop quick and effective ways of working
Have practical knowledge of construction
Able to read architectural drawings and floorplans
Excellent people skills
Ability to work with others to achieve business goals
