Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work on a Highways project during the daytime (contractual basis) for a Tier 1 contractor.
The ideal candidate for this role would have a proven track record of working on various projects within Highways and have experience overseeing surveying work of specialist subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Actively engage and communicate with internal and external colleagues.
Provide guidance to both management and design teams attending design meetings, site meetings, workshops, overlooking documentation.
Oversee all work done by specialist surveying contractors on site
Report back to Senior Engineer on site
Ensure scheme compliance is met throughout the standards and guidance.
Work towards meeting objectives that are compatible with schemes.
Assist management during the construction process with feedback, co-ordination and progress.
Overlook quality performance levels on the site.
Responsible for creating documentation.
Experience/Qualifications:
Technical knowledge of Civil Engineering principles. proven experience in delivering civil schemes.
Degree level educated Civil Engineer.
Good understanding of requirements of carriageway resurfacing and preventative maintenance schemes.
CSCS, SMSTS etc (desirable).
