Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work on a Tier 1 Highways project on a contractual basis for the night shift.
The ideal candidate for this role would have a proven track record of working on various projects within Highways sector and can apply their academic knowledge to an on-site project!
Responsibilities:
Liaising with internal and external colleagues.
Ensuring surveying equipment is regulated.
Supervising works of specialist surveying subcontractors on site
Recognise and solve any errors and attend to any faults.
Ensure record keeping is maintained.
Overlooking and collectively working with others to make sure that works are carried out in a safe and planned manner.
Working closely with management with feedback, co-ordination and progress.
Responsible for creating and providing documentation.
Promoting site safety culture.
Providing the quality co-ordinator with the Quality Assurance documentation.
Experience/Qualifications:
Educated to Civil Engineer.
Technical knowledge of Civil Engineering principles. proven experience in delivering civil schemes.
Degree level educated Civil Engineer.
Good understanding of requirements of carriageway resurfacing and preventative maintenance schemes.
CSCS, SMSTS etc.
