Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Senior Engineer to work with a Tier 1 contractor on a major highways project.
The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of the Civil Engineering industry and be able to apply to this to this exciting new project among the M5/Junction 10. Will be a contract role overseeing the surveying work being done by specialist subcontractors before commencement on site.
Responsibilities:
Provide design support to the highways design team.
Oversee surveying contractor on site
Overlook preparation of technical drawings, calculations and specifications.
Attend meetings as and when necessary.
Overseeing the financial aspects of the projects and tracking expenditure and costs.
Liaising with sub-contractors, management and designers to work collaboratively on the project.
Making sure that subcontractors employed for surveying are working in a safe and efficient manner
Administering works packages to subcontract site teams
Reporting back to Senior PM on all aspects of the survey work
Experience/Qualifications:
Educated with relevant field Civil Engineering.
CSCS, SMSTS qualified.
Civil Engineering experience (highways).
CAD understanding.
