About the Role:

The company are seeking a dedicated Sales Administration and Credit Control Specialist to join their team. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a key role in managing sales administration and credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing quotations for new small job enquiries
  • Conducting credit and AML checks for new customers
  • Managing internal and external debt payment queries
  • Ensuring timely payments within agreed terms
  • Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email
  • Creating weekly debtor reports and internal accounts information
  • Keeping detailed records of collection activities
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Handling additional administrative and office management tasks as needed

Location: Our modern offices are conveniently located in Oval, London.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (35 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break).

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years in bookkeeping or accountancy
  • Two years in a professional services environment
  • Three years of working with MS Excel
  • Excellent numeracy skills

Essential Skills:

  • GCSE grade B or above in Maths, English, and IT
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone manner and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Proficient data entry and processing skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel (to be tested during the interview)

Desirable Skills:

  • Prior experience in a credit control or accounts role
  • Familiarity with Xero accounting software
  • Experience in a sales and marketing environment

Salary and Benefits:

  • £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
