**The Opportunity**
We are looking for motivated and experienced HGV Drainage Operatives to handle a variety of drainage tasks, including emergency call-outs and routine maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to progress and build a solid, long-term career.

- This is a physically demanding role with long hours, often requiring early mornings, late nights, and weekend shifts. If you are not fully prepared to commit to the necessary working hours, this may not be a suitable position for you.
- The role involves working at various locations across the UK, not just locally. You must be willing to travel and stay away from home.

**Salary & Benefits**
- **Basic Salary**: £29,120 per annum
- **Earning Potential**: In excess of £42,000 annually, including overtime
- **Hourly Rate**: £14.00 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half and/or double time as applicable
**Job Responsibilities**
As an HGV Drainage Operative, you will:
- Operate various equipment and HGV vehicles to handle a wide range of drainage issues, including emergency call-outs, blockages, and regular maintenance tasks
- Carry out tasks such as cleaning pipes, working with pump stations, gully cleansing, interceptors, high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ), and other general HGV drainage work
**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- **Desirable**: CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding certifications (full training will be provided)
- **Essential**:
- Must have an HGV Class 2 License, complete with relevant CPC units and no more than 3 points
- Well-organized with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Effective and polite communication with clients and colleagues across commercial, residential, and industrial sites
- Willingness to undertake training and development as needed
- Ability to work using your own initiative
- Must operate in accordance with Health & Safety and Quality Procedures
**Essential Requirements**
- Up-to-date CPC (training can be provided)
- Flexibility for a reasonable amount of overtime
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early starts, as we operate 24/7
**Additional Information**
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience
- Participation in an on-call rota (approximately one week in six)
- Employment offers are contingent on successful drug and alcohol testing and DBS pre-employment checks
