I am recruiting an ACCA or ACA qualified Audit and Accounts Senior for a London Bridge based, Top 50 accountancy practice.

This new, open plan office is the base for a close-knit team of general practitioners, offering audit, accounts, and tax services to wide range of OMB and SME clients, from a wide range of sectors including property, construction and FCA regulated insurance brokers.

Due to the variety of clients, you will gain exposure to companies of varying size with turnovers of up to £100m, although most tend to cluster around the £8m to £45m turnover level, predominantly FRS102 with a handful of IFRS clients.

What will this Audit and Accounts Senior role involve?

• Split of work is 80% audit, and 20% accounts/tax
• Leading audit engagements from planning to completion
• Preparing statutory accounts /group consolidations
• Preparing management accounts
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Utilising Caseware, CCH sage and Xero.

The successful candidate will be joining a sociable and friendly team, and will be responsible for supervising audits as well and helping the current seniors, with a view to moving forward quickly into an assistant manager role.
