About the Role

The Insurance & Reinsurance Group at this firm is busy and continues to grow. The team is looking to hire solicitors with experience in claims involving construction professionals into the London office. They handle a wide range of interesting matters and work with both Bristol and London partners. Key areas of work include:

Wide-ranging professional indemnity disputes, particularly defending claims against the full range of construction professionals.
Supporting other areas of the firm with Construction PI issues.
Complex policy coverage matters.
There is an opportunity to work with an enviable client base, including many leading insurers and major brokers. The team is known for providing highly commercial advice and offers the prospect of working closely with key clients while being encouraged to develop personal contacts and networks in the market.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in claims involving construction professionals, gained at a city, insurance, major regional, or leading international firm, with strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings.

Experience in both defence and coverage work is particularly valued. The candidate should possess excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver practical and commercial advice. Due to the client-facing nature of the role, sound judgement, good interpersonal skills, and project management abilities are essential.
