NEW OPPORTUNITY - Senior Solar Engineer - £65,000 DOE - London (Hybrid)
Piper Maddox is representing a global, leading renewable energy IPP who boast a diverse range of projects across the UK, Europe and Africa. As their pipeline continues to grow, so does their expert team and in house capabilities.
My client focuses on developing, owning and operating utility scale Solar and BESS plants. They are seeking to a Senior Solar Design Engineer to come into the team and take a lead role on seeing through multi-million-pound projects from conception to operation. This presents the unique chance to develop a complete project development skillset and learn from true market experts inside of the team.
Key responsibilities:
* Take a lead role in completing energy yield assessments and Solar PV designs.
* Review electrical designs to ensure they meet industry standards.
* Occasional visit to global sites to ensure projects are meeting quality expectations.
Key Skills:
* 5 years of experience in the renewable energy engineering sector.
* Ability to use software including PVSyst, PVCase and AutoCAD.
* Ability to complete construction ready drawings is preferred.
