Social Value Manager role

As the Social Value Manager, you will:

Work with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery to consider and formulate a deliverable and
effective Lovell London SV strategy
Lead external SV narrative, including supporting work winning through formulating a cogent
offering
Understand what a good SV offer looks like for both construction and regeneration bids
Support the bid process by supplying information on social value and community issues during
tender bid and submission stages working collaboratively with the new business and bid teams
Work closely with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery when formulating bid SV proposals
Attend dialogue meetings, resident group meetings and site visits during the bid process as
required
Collaborate with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery to ensure that bid proposals are
deliverable
Understand how to extract best outcomes using SV portals such as SVP, TOMs
Have existing relationships, and proactively formulate new relationships, across the London
Boroughs, HAs and third sector colleagues - and effectively undertake stakeholder mapping
Work with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery in rolling out new initiatives such as ROTL,
care leavers covenant etc.
Work with our Sustainability Coordinator to ensure sustainability requirements are embedded
into bid commitments and ensure these can be delivered and maximised
Attend SV conferences, at Future of London events, REIFF, Brighton, and
speak, present and contribute at these events as necessary
Engage with sector wide initiatives that deliver improved outcomes for communities - Building
Skills for the Future
Work with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery to capture and narrate good practice and
innovative initiatives that could provide work winning capital for the business
In conjunction with the SV Manager responsible for Delivery, ensuring colleagues across the
business recognise and are committed to our strategy and outcomes
