Morgan Hunt currently require a Shift Technician for NHS based in Central London

Pay Rate: £24.00ph PAYE or £27ph Ltd

Hours: 37.5hrs - 8am to 16:30pm Mon to Fri

Location: Central London

Duration 3 months on going contract.

M ain purpose of the job

The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Water Systems Engineer, working with and directing where necessary the in-house hard services team in the expert management of our water systems.

The candidate will have responsibility as an authorised person (AP) for Water and will work to ensure all duties, legal requirements and responsibilities are adhered to whilst ensuring the health board meets its statutory compliance requirements. The candidate will lead on all compliance related matters for Water and whilst not leading the services operationally, will ensure the expert management, direction, and escalation where necessary to senior management of matters arising related to in-house staff and contractors.

The candidate will be responsible for procuring works to manage mechanical activities, produce reporting and ensure the safe and compliant storage of records to present our level of compliance. They will work with a wide range of staff groups and ensure the strategic development of service-related plans and procedures related to their remit.

The candidate will aid the Water services Engineer to deliver planned and reactive Mechanical services across the trust with specific responsibility for ensuring compliance contractors are in place, giving guidance and direction as appropriate. The candidate will also deputise for the Water systems engineer where needed.
