Do you have substantial knowledge of successfully managing in-house repair teams, and partnerships with sub-contractors?
We have an exciting position available for a Head of Repairs to join us!
As the Head of Repairs, you will lead and inspire a talented team responsible for the ongoing responsive and empty homes maintenance repairs. You will have strategic and operational responsibility delivering high quality and efficient service embedding a culture of customer excellence across the team.
You will support the delivery of the One Manchester Asset Management Strategy so that the repairs and maintenance team deliver to agreed targets and ensuring that all operations meet statutory and regulatory obligations and One Manchester’s standards and financial parameters.
What we’re looking for:
· Relevant Building Construction / Surveying / Management qualification.
· Can demonstrate an extensive and strong track record of leading a customer-focussed function to deliver excellent services.
· Has comprehensive experience of successfully managing in-house repair teams, and partnerships with sub-contractors.
· Has a solid track record of managing people and driving improvements in teams to achieve targets in the delivery of excellent service.
· Substantial knowledge of working within the construction / building / maintenance sector, with an understanding of asset management.
· Experience of Procurement processes (incl. OJEU compliant) including tender design, evaluation and third party contractor monitoring and management.
· Proof of operating at a senior manager level with ability to influence and negotiate with customers, stakeholders and other partners.
