Madisons Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Groundworks & Civils Site Manager to take control of the daily site activities based in Leyland, Preston. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven record of delivering projects to customer specifications, quality and exceed expectations.
Job Description:

Manage the safe delivery of Groundwork and Civils Projects
-
Manage all health and safety issues related to the project
-
Ensure that safe working practices and safety procedures are fully implemented across the site/project/contract
-
Monitor attendance & time keeping as well as keeping records such as diaries etc.
-
Manage material orders and/or call offs to ensure timely delivery of materials required to meet the programme requirements.

Ensure all relevant design & specification documentation is current and communicated to the onsite team
-
Ensure that all additional work is identified,
-
Appreciate and understand the commercial implications within the construction process and incorporate these with decision making
-
Any other duties required which will help the requirements of the Company to achieve the goals set out
Essential Criteria:
-
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Civil Engineering Sector.

Excellant Communications skills - Written and verbal

SMSTS Certificate

CSCS
-
First Aid (Essential)
