Role Overview: As a Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for executing site services and post-processing field data to meet the required standards. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and adherence to health, safety, and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company as a Utility Surveyor, ensuring professional conduct at all times.
  • Adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities as per company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure your own health and safety, as well as that of others affected by your work.
  • Follow transport and driving policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively both on-site and with office staff.
  • Conduct surveying, clearance, tracing, and post-processing according to specific instructions.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working condition, ensuring it is calibrated and fit for use.
  • Transfer site data to the server upon completion.
  • Submit technical deliverables to standard and on time.
  • Perform site visits and liaise directly with clients.
  • Promote the company and engage with clients to build strong relationships.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Utility Surveyor:

  • Train and develop junior surveyors, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure the quality of drawing standards through regular checks.

Candidate Profile:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • QCF / NVQ Level 3 in Utility Tracing.
    • Full UK drivers licence.
    • IOSH Safe Supervision of Geotechnical Sites or equivalent.
    • CSCS qualification.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience for Senior Utility Surveyor positions.
