Senior Estimator - Social Housing

North London

Full Time - permanent

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000

We are working with a leading Social Housing Repairs and Maintenance Contractor to find a highly skilled and experience Senior Estimator to join their team in North London due to business growth from securing long term clients reporting to the Commercial & Finance Director.

They will support, train, and empower you to own your role. You will have profit and loss decision making responsibilities and be involved in shaping not only the future of this contract, but the businesses wider growth.

About You

• Relevant degree qualification or HNC
• Experience in construction and refurbishment/ social housing works
• Experience pricing projects from £500k +
• Fully competent with carrying out measurements, takes-off and first principle calculations
• Fully competent with package analysis following initial tender enquiries to ensure no scope gap
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of standard forms of contract including JCT
• Ability to put together headline/tender programs
• Proficient use of IT including Microsoft Office and estimating packages / tools.
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to build and develop relationships with clients
• Ability to manage a high volume of workload and have a flexible approach
• Strong presentation skills - written and verbal
• Clearly and effectively communicate at all levels within and outside the organisation
• Drive to improve knowledge of industry changes and understanding
