JOB DESCRIPTION - Organise and carry out the design, installation, maintenance, testing and repair work for the Association’s managed properties, housing stock and external customers in accordance with agreed targets and procedures; ensuring services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
Manage stock/supplies to ensure works are not delayed.
Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales; updating and maintaining manual and computerised records relating to testing electrical installations etc.
Work in an efficient manner that delivers value for money, identify efficiencies, gaps in service delivery; communicating them to line management.
Use information available to identify customer needs and ensure services are tailored to meet those needs.
Co-ordinate the services of other trades and work with colleagues, contractors and partners to ensure a seamless and excellent service to customers.
Qualifications
C&G 2382- 2394 as applicable
NVQ or equivalent qualification
Extensive, demonstrable post qualification experience in the electrical trade
Demonstrable success in the delivery of a variable workload in a customer focused environment and working in a target driven service
Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety requirements
Demonstrable excellent communication skills
Ability to use computerised data recording equipment
