Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Design Manager - Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Design Manager position dealing with various industrial roofing & cladding systems such as: metal roofing, wall cladding, flat roofing, asbestos roofing, gutter refurbishment and roofing refurbishment

• Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
• Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
• Ensure all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers’ latest installation guidance
• Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
• Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
• Managing a team of 3-4 designers / draughtsmen
• Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £4m

The ideal applicant will be Design Manager - Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within the industrial roofing and cladding market sector
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation
• Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
• Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
