We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Manager to oversee & manage the transactional teams. The manager needs to know where to delegate responsibility and be able to support, train and develop the team, As well as reviewing processes & procedures & instigating change / improvement where required
Main Responsibilities include
Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support. o Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs
Oversee the entire AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Job Description
Supervise the AR process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices.
Prepare and present monthly AP/AR reports to the Head of Finance.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Oversee the expense management system.
Ensure proper documentation and approval of employee expenses.
Proven experience in AP/AR management, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and controls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
