Litigation Solicitor

My client is are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated lawyer to join their busy dispute resolution team, with the potential to take on a leadership role.
This opportunity is open to both solicitors and CILEX legal executives.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 4 years of solid experience in litigation.
  • A strong desire to contribute to the growth of the litigation department.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and IT skills.
  • High standards of client care.
  • A proven track record of strong billing.
Previous experience as Head of Department is advantageous but not required.

Role Overview The position will initially involve managing an existing caseload, primarily focused on civil litigation with some commercial litigation, including:
  • Contested probate claims – 70%
  • Other commercial and civil litigation, such as professional negligence and construction disputes – 30%
This role does not involve personal injury or medical negligence work, which is handled by other experienced team members.

The dispute resolution team currently includes two other litigation lawyers and a paralegal, who focus exclusively on property disputes.

Location:
The position is based at the Wiltshire office, with very flexible hybrid working options.
There is also the possibility of working from other branch locations or fully remote for the right candidate.

Quality work, client satisfaction, and strong billing is proritised over physical presence.

Salary:
Competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.
