Industrial Door Engineer
RAW Talent is proud to partner with a market-leading company in the industrial door sector, established since 1983.
We are currently recruiting for
two Industrial Door Engineers
to join their team. This business has built a global reputation as a premier designer, manufacturer, and installer of some of the worlds largest doors, from fire station doors to massive 70-metre-high doors for rocket launching facilities.
Industrial Door Engineer Role Overview
As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Routine maintenance of door installations (primarily the companys own products).

Occasional repair and parts replacement on various door installations.

Completing online service reports for finished works and making recommendations for further service needs.

The M3 Corridor (covering Central London, the South West of England, and the Channel Islands).

North of Biggleswade (covering the northern half of the country and into Scotland).

: Spares & Service Manager

Hours
: Full-time (Monday Friday)

MonThurs: 07.30 17.00

Fri: 07.30 15.30

Additional Information
:
-
Working alone or occasionally as part of a team.
-
Customer interaction on a daily basis.

Completing post-visit service reports through online systems.
-
Daily travel is required, with the possibility of staying away for up to a week at a time.

Occasional weekend work may be requested, with in lieu days provided.

Potential for occasional overseas assignments.

Requires security/DBS clearance at an early stage.
Industrial Door Engineer Key Requirements
-
Experience
:
-
Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining industrial doors (e.g., roller shutters, high-speed doors, sectional doors, sliding gates) or experience as a lift engineer or overhead crane engineer.

Mechanical and electrical engineering background.
-
Qualifications
:
-
18th Edition / Electrical qualifications.
-
IPAF and DHF training.
-
CSCS Card(s) with a strong understanding of safety practices.

Skills:
-
Ability to read engineering drawings.
-
Good verbal and written communication skills.
-
Full UK Driving Licence.
-
Positive and conscientious attitude with a team player mentality.
