My client is currently looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor for an exciting opportunity

This role is to work for a reputable Industrial Concrete Flooring company based in Tyne & Wear

• Permanent contract starting ASAP
• Predominantly office based (Tyne & Wear)
• Rate is negotiable (£30-35k)
• Bonus Incentives offered as well as company vehicle provided (or car allowance) & pension contribution
• Training will be provided from current supervisor

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within the Concrete Flooring industry
• Must have experience with Metal Deck Flooring
• Strong IT Skills - Excel, emails etc
• CSCS Card (SSSTS/SMSTS would be a bonus)
• A strong knowledge of duties and machinery required to complete each task
• Previous experience working as a supervisor and putting operatives to work
• Strong communication skills - answering calls, meeting and liaising with clients and candidates
• Previous experience working as a supervisor, with good on site knowledge

Duties

• Day to day management of diary and putting operatives to work
• Organising and meeting with clients both existing and new.
• Labour Allocations & Pricing (running workers nationwide)
• Taking client orders, arranging, and raising orders
• Ordering of materials and plant
• Monitoring and tracking costs

Requirements

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS/SSSTS highly desired, but not essential
• Previous experience working within a similar role
• Full driving license as will be mainly North East based but will be required to attend meetings with clients old and new.
• Proof of right to work documents
