The Position
Galliard Homes are looking to recruit an Aftercare Property Supervisor on a Fixed-Term Contract for Maternity Cover to join our aftercare team based in our Head Office in Loughton, Essex. This Fixed-Term Contract will run until October 2025.
The Aftercare Property Supervisor assists in providing our new buyers with a smooth two-year warranty period. The ideal candidate must be a well organised, methodical, a good communicator with excellent customer service skills and good administrative skills.
This position is based from our Head Office five days per week. The working hours are 08:00am to 16:30pm Monday to Friday.
Duties include:

Answer general, maintenance and emergency phone calls, dealing with all general enquiries and resolve reported issues accordingly.

Act as a central point of contact for all owners, landlords and tenants.

Responding to emails from clients, managing agents, tenants, or property managers.

Log and schedule new defects and closing them down once resolved.

Liaising with our on-site construction teams and trade sub-contractors.

Assisting with the preparation of homeowner manuals when needed.

General ad hoc admin duties.
The Person:
The Aftercare Property Supervisor will have exceptional organisational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively manage conflict and solve problems. They will also meet the below criteria:
Essential:

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and multi-task by employing effective time management strategies.

Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Proven ability to organise and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Must be a quick learner with the ability to "hit the ground running".

Must have previous experience working within an administrative customer service position.
Desirable:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role within a housing, property management, or construction business, ideally within aftercare or property management.

Previous experience using Clixifix or a similar software.

A good understanding of general construction practices with the ability to identify property issues and instruct the correct engineer to resolve the issue.
