Property Manager Assistant- North London - £30,000 - £34,000
We are currently working with a prestigious and forward-thinking Property Management Company who are looking for an Assistant/Administrator to join their Finchley Office in North London.
You will be a key part of the team, assisting the property managers and liaising with contractors and tenants regularly.

Assist the experienced property management team in day-to-day administrative tasks.

Maintain accurate records for compliance and tenancy documentation, ensuring data is up-to date and in line with GDPR regulations.

Support in scheduling property inspections, maintenance visits, and statutory safety checks (e.g., gas safety, EICR, EPC, HMO licensing).

Draft tenancy agreements and legal notices under supervision, ensuring compliance with the Housing Act 1988 and 2004.

Help track and manage safety certificates and licensing requirements to ensure landlord and tenant obligations are met.
Tenant Liaison & Communication

Provide prompt and professional responses to tenant queries, escalating more complex issues to senior staff.

Support in coordinating maintenance requests through property management software (Arthur, Fixflo, Inventory Hive), ensuring updates are communicated to tenants and landlords.

Assist in delivering structured updates to landlords, including performance reports and rent reviews

Help log and track maintenance requests, coordinating with the in-house maintenance team and external contractors for basic issues.

Obtain competitive quotes for minor works and support the senior team in tracking budgets and spending.

Support the monitoring of maintenance schedules and ensure preventative maintenance tasks are booked in a timely manner

Build knowledge and understanding of residential property management, UK housing regulations, and best practices.

Take part in training opportunities to develop skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and property compliance.
Requirements Essential:

Strong property administrative skills (minimum of 1 year!)

Excellent communication and customer service skills when speaking to tenants, contractors and landlords

Driving license preferred!

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Confident user of Excel and willingness to learn property management software

Willingness to occasionally travel locally for property visits (
not regular, may be once a month!)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Office-based)
