We have a new opportunity for an Electrician to join a local council to deliver a high quality responsive repairs service in customers homes.

Responsibilities:

• Tracing, diagnosing and rectifying faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment.
• Partial or full re-wiring to council properties, both domestic and communal, as required including testing, commissioning and certifying of these works.
• All types of cable containment, wiring of door entry systems, fire alarms, testing of emergency lighting and 3 phase power switching and distribution.
• Planning each job and ensuring the required materials are available to ensure the programme of works are completed to schedule.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations - BS7671:2018
• Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection & Testing and Certification of in-service Electrical Installations (QCF) or equivalent
