Job Opportunity: Site Manager for Fit-Out and Refurbishment Project in Hartlepool

Project Duration: 8 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a dynamic fit-out and refurbishment project for a commercial gym in Hartlepool. This role is for an 8-week period, managing a team of up to 15 workers on-site. The successful candidate will work closely with our main contractor to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • CSCS Card: Essential
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme): Required
  • First Aid Certificate: Mandatory
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in site management, particularly in fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, construction processes, and materials
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth progress and adherence to the project plan.
  • Team Management: Lead, coordinate, and motivate a team of up to 15 workers, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
  • Quality Control: Monitor all work for quality assurance, ensuring that all finishes meet the required standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently, avoiding delays and wastage.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting any potential risks or issues.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges promptly to keep the project on track.
