Junior Site Manager - Building Engineering Company (Kendal) - Fully Remote

We are a leading building engineering firm based in Kendal, and due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote role, providing you with flexibility and the chance to manage impactful projects from anywhere.

Salary : £40,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience)
Bonus : 10% annual performance bonus
Additional Benefits : Company vehicle provided

As a Junior Site Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering a wide range of local authority projects within the community space , education , and healthcare sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company and take on a variety of exciting projects that positively impact the local community.

  • Support the senior project management team in overseeing site operations remotely.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met on schedule.
  • Ensure that site activities comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Coordinate site inspections and ensure that all works meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, permits, and safety audits.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues to keep projects running smoothly.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Certification.
  • First Aid at Work Certification.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in site management or supervision roles within construction or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
