Document Controller Overview:
Support in the discovery of electronic files, emails and hard copy records in connection with construction disputes and litigation's.
Document Controller Responsibilities:

Review of off-site archived reports and production suitable referencing system

Support in the review, compilation and issue of disclosure submissions in litigation's and other dispute resolutions processes

Provide administration support as required by the dispute team

Before any documents are loaded make sure a document quality audit is undertaken and if the document fails it is to be rejected and the original author informed

Administer the procedures in relation data management and preservation

Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the commercial and dispute team

Work across multiple projects and disputes to ensure a consistent approach is maintained for the control and storage of documentation

Maintain a database of the commercials key contacts, including consultants, experts, specialists and legal advisers

Be responsible for the team's information on the server and cloud platforms ownership and email distribution lists

Be the central point of document control for all compliance information on all projects you are involved with This will require a certain level of understanding regards the IDP (Information Delivery Plan)

Assist in the signing and sealing process used for document approvals by senior management

Administrative duties where required

Identify and integrate new solutions to improve processes

Scan and upload documents, emails and files to secure data platforms with consultants and legal advisers

Assist with the monitoring and process of payments through the ERP payment system
