There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our South West Division, located in Bristol, is looking to recruit a Sales Office Manager to join the Division’s Sales team. The role will be fixed-term for 1 year. The Role The role of Sales Office Manager is to manage the sales administration process and deliver an efficient service to the Sales department. The Sales Office Manager reports into the Sales Director. Principal accountabilities of the Sales Office Manager role include: Co-ordinate the progression of sales from reservation from legal completion, including liaising with solicitors and collating legal documents as requested, ensuring all targets are achieved. Train, coach and motivate sales administration staff to ensure their work is to a high standard. Ensure that adequate cover is provided in the sales office, such as managing holidays and ensuring staff have knowledge of each other’s roles to cover for absences. Ensure all sales systems are kept up to date including filing. Produce weekly, monthly and other ad hoc reports required by the sales department, Divisional management and Group within the required timescales. Review and update the sales section of the website to ensure that this is up to date at all times. Handle telephone and e-mail enquiries from prospective customers regarding both forthcoming and existing sites. Support and assist Sales Advisors, Sales Managers and the Head of Sales as and when required. Register plots with the NHBC and record the same on appropriate the sales system Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working within a busy and fast-paced Sales Office manager Role. Experience of working within sales is desirable. Experience of working within housebuilding is desirable. Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) Skills and Aptitude Good interpersonal skills Excellent organisation and administration skills, including good attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems Committed to diversity and inclusion The Role and Working Conditions Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
