A solid understanding of Demand Planning procedures
Data analysis and manipulation skills
A track record delivering efficiency improvement and optimisation
Generate accurate and timely part demand forecasts by reviewing historical trends, understanding demand drivers, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
Maintain the demand planning data and tools that support the forecasting process
Prepare and maintain relevant reports and KPIs relating to the Demand Management Process
Closely coordinate and communicate demand plans with supply planning to support the development of inventory strategies and supply plans.
Monitor trends in forecast error to improve the forecast accuracy.
Collaborate with Supply Planning to monitor progress against plan and to understand the implications of backorders on the customer.
