Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a background in water treatment or utilities projects ? We're looking for a skilled contractor to join a dynamic team delivering essential infrastructure upgrades in the Walsall area.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment on water treatment sites. This includes pumps, valves, pipework, and associated mechanical plant.

• Mechanical installation and assembly of water treatment equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and P&IDs
• Working with pumps, valves, pipework (stainless and ductile iron), and other mechanical systems
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to meet project deadlines

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the water/utilities sector
• CSCS or equivalent safety certification
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools and PPE
