As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be part of a growing and dynamic business within the Construction sector. Working in an extremely supportive and collaborate environment you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of financial reporting including management accounts, overhead accounts, balance sheets, reconciliations, prepayments and accruals.
Main responsibilities for the Finance Assistant will be:
Produce the forecast for weekly cashflow position and attend cash meetings
Raise sales invoices and report on overdue cash
Assist with cost reporting and control
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts consolidation, analysis & reporting
Post prepayments, accruals and cost transfer journals
Undertake balance sheet and account reconciliations
Assist with auditor queries
You will:
Be studying towards AAT or CIMA
Have previous Finance experience
Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic
Ideally have previously worked within the Construction sector
