Your new company
You will be working for an Essex-based specialist steelwork contractor with a vast project portfolio ranging from singular steel beam supply to multimillion pound steel projects.
Your new role
As the senior designer, you will be working on a variety of project sizes, from small staircases to large industrial builds. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design team and allocating the works appropriately.
• Ensure compliance of designs with building regulations and design intents.
• Work closely with clients and project management team
• Site surveys
• Ensure works are correct and uploaded to relevant project files
• Management of client platforms
• Liaise with project engineers and architects.
• Ensuring full compliance from the drawing office with regard to UK-CA ES BN 1090 and ISO 9001.

What you'll need to succeed

• Specific experience in the steel industry as an advanced steel/tekla draughtsman
• Experience in developing GA's & details for steelwork and metal work from Architect/Engineers drawings and site measurements, and subsequent fabrication drawings.
