Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major capital projects, particularly those related to fire safety improvements and compliance.

Fire Safety Expertise:
Provide expert guidance on fire safety standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring that all projects meet the required safety standards.

Stakeholder Management:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including university leadership, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment with institutional goals and compliance with statutory requirements.

Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and delivering projects within financial constraints.

Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to fire safety, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest quality, with a strong emphasis on safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and financial updates.
Profile
Applicants for this role will be expected to be a qualified Project Manager with a degree in the field of Building Services or Construction and ideally a Chartered Member of CIBSE.
In addition to the above, applicants will need to have working knowledge of fire safety and a relevant qualification in the field of fire safety/Fire Risk Assessment.
The role is based in Wolverhampton 5 days a week so applicants will need to live within a commutable distance of Wolverhampton.
Job Offer
A salary of £57,000 - £67,000 is on offer.
